In an interview with News.com, Bill Gates explains why he hasn’t started a weblog (yet):
“I’ve toyed with doing one myself, but I don’t want to be one of those people who start and then don’t finish it, and again I’m thinking maybe I could do one a month or one every six weeks—something like that. I’d kind of like to, but I’ve got to be sure I can keep going for at least a year to make it worth doing.”
He’s right - he’s better of not starting at all than starting a weblog that never gets updated. If he does start one, though, I’ll read it.

You know, as much as I don't like Microsoft, I'd read a weblog written by Bill Gates. I'm sure, despite what I think of his company, he would have a lot of very interesting things to say. I think any blog by Gates would probably be far more interesting than reading a blog like Microsoft's cheerleader Robert Scoble.

WHO wouldn't read Bill Gates' blog?
If he launches a blog, I bet it will be THE most popular blog on the earth. And if he leaves comments on, he will need a team to moderate the comments!

He may charge for reading it, or charge for subscribing to post comments.

I bet he'd only make it IE-compatible...

That would be an interesting blog to read...

LOL! On Daniel's comment.
Yeah, see now, I'm not sure it will come up properly on my anti-IE browser. :-D

The former president of Denmark has his own blog. But noone really reads it, as far as I can tell. I really don't think that a famous name is enough, to get you anywhere in the blogging sphere.

Denmark is a monarchy. :-)
