I was waiting for some CDs to arrive for my next planned Acts of Volition Radio playlist, but great songs just kept coming to mind. So, instead of waiting, I’ve put together another session in the interim. This session was recorded while hunkered down in my little house surround by a lot of snow.

Thanks Steve for another great session. As I've written on my blog, your radio session are a precious resource of fresh music for my ears and you made me discover some great bands and artists that otherwise I'd never had the chance to listen to.
Just a little sidenote: I think you forgot a track ("The way of the soul") in the playlist, you played it right before Buckley's "Hallelujah".

I've been listening to every one and I just love the blog too. Maybe having more articles wouldn't harm, but I'm sure your a busy man.

This is great stuff as usual Steven...I also highly recommend Paste Music Magazine (www.pastemagazine.com)for fans of great music that comes from all over the genre map, but with focus on solid songwriting. It always conatins a CD sampler as well.

For the few who might be looking forward to the next session of Acts of Volition Radio - fear not - it is coming. I was away for a while, and then lost my voice to a nasty cold this week. It's only beginning to return. Session #8 is imminent.

Glad to hear another session is coming. I just found your site recently and have really enjoyed all of the sessions. I live in a remote town in the mountains of Japan and finding out about new music is something I crave. Thanks for doing this.

If Denison is near you (right now he's touring in the band of Sufjan - also great), see him. I've seen him three times and it was a great show each time.
