nice playlist. i'm glad to see denison gaining in popularity. i've listened to this show and your first two, and all have been very enjoyable. keep up the good work.

Thanks Steve for another great session. As I've written on my blog, your radio session are a precious resource of fresh music for my ears and you made me discover some great bands and artists that otherwise I'd never had the chance to listen to.
Just a little sidenote: I think you forgot a track ("The way of the soul") in the playlist, you played it right before Buckley's "Hallelujah".
Keep up the great work!

Appropriate that you have SNtR in there, since they're now disbanding. :(

I might have a couple suggestions if you want them. :D

MJH -

The girl singing on Hank Dogs sounds like Dido's voice double...

Martin Alderson -

Steven, once again a great playlist.

I've been listening to every one and I just love the blog too. Maybe having more articles wouldn't harm, but I'm sure your a busy man.

Tim Poundstone -

This is great stuff as usual Steven...I also highly recommend Paste Music Magazine (www.pastemagazine.com)for fans of great music that comes from all over the genre map, but with focus on solid songwriting. It always conatins a CD sampler as well.

Tim Poundstone -

Here's the fixed link for Paste Magazine. I wouldn't want you to have to cut and paste.

Jeff Buckley? Too easy!

bonnie -

The Be Good Tanyas - been following them for years ... nice addition.

Pippos -

Thank you very much for this wonderful session, I think you made really a good choice...

Now you have the first place in the playlist of my pda...

Also the blog is really nice, I discovered it since I'm a great fan of Firefox...

Bye!

Sixpence split. this is bad, I was just starting to like them.

eric -

Nice work on the inclusion of Dennison Witmer. Easily one of the most overlooked musicians right now.

Michael Heilemann -

Just thought I'd let you know that I really enjoyed this. This was my first time listning to your 'show', but I'm now downloading the rest for use at work tomorrow :)

So gratifying to find a source of good music. Hell it's nice to find a source of music that isn't Top 40!

it seems this kind of "downloadable web radios" are slowly appearing all around...
Look at this one:

For the few who might be looking forward to the next session of Acts of Volition Radio - fear not - it is coming. I was away for a while, and then lost my voice to a nasty cold this week. It's only beginning to return. Session #8 is imminent.

Tom Watson -

Glad to hear another session is coming. I just found your site recently and have really enjoyed all of the sessions. I live in a remote town in the mountains of Japan and finding out about new music is something I crave. Thanks for doing this.

Ryan -

Thank you for enlightening me to Denison Witmer, I really like them. I will definately have to check out the rest their stuff. Awesome job on the sight too.

John Beeler -

If Denison is near you (right now he's touring in the band of Sufjan - also great), see him. I've seen him three times and it was a great show each time.
